Example info on Solar Energy
(click the "Solar" Button above for more detailed information)
There are several ways that we get energy directly from the sun. We might use the sun to heat water passing through solar collectors on our roof. Water heated this way might then be sent to our current hot water heater. Because it has already been preheated by the sun, little or no action might be required by the hot water heater to acquire the desired water temperature. Another example of solar energy use is through the atomic reaction of solar rays on a Photovoltaic (PV) Cell collector. This action creates electrical energy. When properly installed and during periods when you are not using all of the electricity being generated by your PV system, you might be spinning your electric meter backwards; thereby reducing your total cost for electricity during the day and even at night when the PV system is not receiving sunshine it has stored energy in the batteries of the system.
The term Solar Energy means using the suns rays to directly heat water or air or to cause an atomic reaction to generate electricity. Energy that has been created by the use of renewable natural resource "the Sun" as opposed to the burning of fossil fuels (Such as Coal, Oil or Gasoline or even Nuclear). Therefore neither hydrocarbons nor fluorocarbons (carbon dioxides) were created and/or released into the air during the performance the heating action. Thus earth friendly use of renewable natural energy!
Example info on Geothermal Energy
(click the "Geothermal" Button above for more detailed information)
There are several ways that we get energy from the Earths relative temperature. We might use the hot water that rises up from natural wells. There are certain geographical areas where we might be able to drill wells and access hot water from below the surface. We might merely bury thermal transducer a few feet below the surface, below the frost line. The glycol in the transducer can transfer the relative heat from the warmer Earth to our heat pumps or the relatively cooler temperature from the earth to our air conditioners when properly engineered or when a Geothermal Heat Pump is specified.
Too many contractors are installing standard heat pumps in their new construction projects when they should be installing Geothermal Heat Pumps. They are of course doing this to keep the sale price of their projects as low as possible, but in doing so they are passing on the increased cost of higher energy use to the buyer. Buyers need to specify that they are willing to pay the small increase in initial cost and realize the energy savings, the benefit to the environment and the savings in operational expense during the operation of the Green Energy system. The term Geothermal Energy means using the temperature of the earths relative natural hot or cool ambient temperature to create the desired changes in temperature inside your structure.
Use of Green Energy will help save our Planet

Example info on Wind Energy
(click the "Wind" Button above for more detailed information)
Have you ever wondered how electricity is produced by a wind generator; what we often call a wind mill or wind electric system? We'll help you understand by covering the basics of Wind technology, which includes the underlying physics, how various wind devices are designed and become fully functional systems, and what's happening today in wind energy research and development.  DOE's Wind Energy Program efforts have culminated in some of industry's leading products today and have contributed to record-breaking industry growth. How Wind Turbines Work Technically wind is a form of solar energy. Winds are caused by the uneven heating of the atmosphere by the sun, the irregularities of the earth's surface, and rotation of the earth.
